The Judge's Son
Following the brutal assassination of his father, the Chief Judge of the Nephites, a young man is thrust into a world of political corruption and secret combinations. To survive, he must navigate the lethal snares of the Gadianton robbers, reclaim a fractured faith, and witness breathtaking miracles that save countless lives.
For this world design, I really wanted to explore visual elements and styles similar to Dreamworks, The Prince of Egypt and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. Exploring various face structures, expressions, and line-weights is a great way for me to visually approach a different ethnicity and race--while trying keep a balanced structure to the narrative provided.
